As a Preferred Partners Network member, you can become a resource the utility can recommend to customers. Additionally, only Preferred Partners Network members are eligible to apply for EnergyRight® for Business & Industry incentives on behalf of customers.

The Silver Membership provides an easier level of access for users who do minimal projects within the TVA Territory yet still wish to offer their customers access to TVA incentives. Your Silver Membership will provide you:

Requirements

Trade Allies are vetted before they become approved PPN Members by:

  • Financial D&BFinancial D&B: Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) is an American business services that provides commercial data to businesses on credit history, business-to-business sales and marketing, counterparty risk exposure, supply chain management, lead scoring and social identity matching. To qualify as a PPN Member, a Preferred Partner must supply a D&B number to participate in the TVA's EnergyRight for Business & Industry. TVA requires that every PPN Member has and maintains a good credit rating. If a D&B number cannot be supplied then two (2) years of the companies tax returns will be required. D&B numbers are reviewed annually for each PPN Member.
  • Business LicenseBusiness License: To qualify as a PPN Member, a Preferred Partner must submit a valid and current Business License to participate in the TVA's EnergyRight for Business & Industry. The Program will accept current a Business License from either the State, County or City of the Preferred Partner’s residence. the EnergyRight® for Business & Industry program requires that all PPNs maintain a valid Business Licenses during their membership year. When changes occur, The PPN Member is required to notify TVA and submit an updated Business License.
  • InsuranceInsurance: To qualify as a PPN Member, a Preferred Partner must provide proof of current insurance coverage including but not limited to, general liability, worker’s compensation and auto insurance. Once approved, the PPN Member is responsible for maintaining and providing current insurance information on an annual basis. When changes occur, The PPN Member is required to notify TVA and submit any updated Insurance forms. If a Preferred Partner does not perform any installation work at the end-user’s facility, they should provide general liability insurance and may be exempt from providing worker’s compensation and auto insurance.
